THE MASQUERADE

During my research, I came across a record with photographs of our ancestors performing masquerade dance, I took some thoughts, not taking it as important in my research earlier but wondered why I should not take it as important in the research.

Humans are kin to funs, humours and leisures for healthy living, if you take these from human it will make life boring and shortened, our fathers knows this and devised means to have it, one of the means they devised was the formation of Masquerade dance.

Unfortunately, this is fading away from some communities and the years of the people being shortened, with the reasons unchecked, we assumed hospital to be answer to every health challenge, not asking how our father's survived without the hospital.

In those days, masquerades are prepared to grace occasions and festivals, to create humour and fun for good health, for people to eased out the stress and worries in their hearts.

Today masquerades are being mystified, assuming them to be gods, this has contributed in the neglect of this vital part of our social living (Masquerade Dance).

Masquerade dance is same as Santa Claus parade, it's for fun, humour and leisure, aimed at building our healthy lives. 

Please bring back our Masquerade.
