Simple fact

I took my time reading responses and posts resulting from Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's message about black. I want to ask us this simple question: Are we blacks? Please check your skin and tell me if you are black, have we been so brainwashed that we don't know colours anymore? How long will it take you Africa, to liberate yourselves from this mental slavery that you were subjected by those who claimed supreme over you because they conquered you in war and ruled over you? How come, up to this time you have not realized these and now that somebody is bringing you to light, you are shamelessly displaying ignorance? Come to think of the theory "Black is absence of Colour", is it a new theory? Is it not this theory that made them to tag us blacks? Implying that we are nothing (colourless). I am not black, if i am black, i would be so proud of it because black humans are so few in the world and are always adored when they are found, I believe that Pastor Chris message is meant to draw your attention to why you were nicknamed Black. But this wouldn't stop me from defending Black as a COLOUR, neither will i attack someone who is standing on an already existing theory to correct you. The theory that says "Black is absence of Colour" is same theory that says "White is absence of Colour", they went on to justify White as a Colour forgetting that its same logic that holds Black and White, all because they have nicknamed Africans black and nicknamed themselves whites, are they whites? black and white human are special because they are rare in the world, we adore them because they are rare and beautiful to behold.
